Join us for an unforgettable sunrise hike along the stunning coastal ridges of Malibu! We’ll meet early to catch golden light as the sun climbs over the Pacific, setting the sky ablaze and the ocean shimmering below.
Our route begins on the iconic Chumash Trail, a scenic coastal ascent known for its steep and strenuous first stretch (about half a mile), so come prepared to earn those views. The climb is rewarded with panoramic sights of the sea and surrounding coastline, the perfect backdrop as dawn breaks.
As we continue on the trail for approximately 5 miles total, you’ll soak in:
Breathtaking ocean vistas and beach views
Early morning light illuminating the hillsides
A refreshing coastal breeze and peaceful trail vibes ️
What to bring:
• Headlamp or flashlight for the early start
• Plenty of water & snacks
• Sturdy hiking shoes
• Sunscreen and layers (it can be cool pre-sunrise)
